23 January 2014New book in preparation

A new book of Scots songs arranged for small wire-strung clarsach is currently in preparation and will be available at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival this year (4-9 April). Arranger Karen Marshalsay has chosen songs she loves and remembers from her childhood - running the gamut of typical Scots themes such as love and loss, Jacobite wars, the supernatural, and the harshness of life. Words will be included and full fingering, damping, and ornamentation will be notated. More info soon!
